IBRS ADVISOR

James Turner is the IBRS Advisor who specialises in cyber security and risk. James has over a decade of experience as an industry analyst and advisor; researching the cyber security industry in Australia.

James has authored over 100 IBRS Advisory papers, and is the author of the IBRS Security Leadership MAP.

As well as being the longest serving cyber security industry analyst in the Asia Pacific region, James is also the founder of CISO Lens and the creator of the CIO Cyber and Risk Network.

Jim Cook

Regional Director ANZ, Malwarebytes

Jim has introduced Malwarebytes into the ANZ region as is responsible for the phenomial uptake that Malwarebyte's next-generation end point security software has seen in the region over the past two years.

With over 18 years experience, Jim draws on his previous experience at Fortinet and Check Point Software to bring a solid comprehension of the regional security industry.

Ed Sawkins

Regional Director, ANZ Cato Networks

Ed Sawkins joined Cato Networks in March 2018 and is responsible for establishing Cato’s presence in Australia and New Zealand. His main focus is adding to the local customer base and forging channel relationships. 

With 18 years IT Security Industry experience prior to Cato Networks, Ed has worked with Skybox Security, Splunk and Palo Alto Networks, bringing a depth of sales and technical knowledge to new and unique offerings to the market.

Dave Shephard

Vice President APJ, Bitglass

Dave Shephard joined Bitglass in September 2017 to head up APJ operations as part of the Companies global expansion. 

His remit is to build upon the early market success Bitglass has achieved in this region by securing new customer partnerships, building effective channels to market and starting-up in key markets across Asia Pacific.

Originally from the UK, Dave moved to Australia in 2010 and worked at RSA Security, Telstra and Tanium before moving to Bitglass.
